Marco helps faculty secure funding from private foundations to support their research, teaching, and community engagement. With experience on both the grantmaking and grant-seeking sides, he provides strategic guidance on foundation cultivation and proposal development.

About
A two-time graduate of UMass Amherst, Marco previously directed environmental and regional initiatives for the Greater New Orleans Foundation and established Louisiana State University’s first office dedicated to the cultivation of private foundations. He has co- developed and implemented grantmaking programs with the Ford, Rockefeller, Surdna, Conrad Hilton, Kellogg, and Walton Family Foundations, among others.
